Vet Design & Fitout
Town planning, design, build and fitout.
Initial works were started on the upper level of the building while construction was being completed on the lower level. There were a number of site challenges that were identified early in the consultation phase, so workarounds could be planned, and solutions found to address access issues.
The design was inspired by a swatch of fabric. The owner wanted the veterinary practice to have the same colours, look and feel as a blue- and teal-toned swatch, while also incorporating timber and other complementary features to create a warm, homely feel.
Like all projects like this, if the plan and design is done correctly the construction phase should be smooth and take little of my input and this was the case. I particularly appreciated all of Rod’s work liaising with the builder and consultants in the early stages of the project when it was in danger of going off-track. We only get positive comments regarding the “look” and the finish is of high quality.
