All Animal Eyes

All Animal Eyes is a growing specialist practice led by Dr. Jessica Nevile and Dr. Simon Hurn who needed to expand their clinic to meet the demands of their flourishing business. With a strong local reputation in Mount Waverley, VIC, they wanted to stay in their current location but required a significant upgrade to their existing space to enhance functionality and accommodate their growing patient load.

Elite proposed a two-part solution: an extension to the existing building and a full refurbishment of the clinic to optimise space and improve workflow. The design included:

• A larger, more welcoming waiting area.
• Additional consultation rooms.
• A fully equipped lab and pharmacy.
• Specialised rooms, including a sterilisation room, laundry, and food preparation area.
• Expansive cat and dog wards to accommodate more patients comfortably.
• Upgraded landscaping and a redesigned car park to improve accessibility.

The new facility required a Planning Permit, which involved navigating a complex approval process with the local council. Elite worked closely with a local town planner and successfully appealed to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to secure planning approval.

Construction was staged carefully to ensure that the clinic remained fully operational throughout the entire build process, allowing All Animal Eyes to continue serving their patients without interruption.

The newly expanded and refurbished clinic is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, reflecting the practice’s dedication to patient care. Dr. Nevile and Dr. Hurn are thrilled with the results.
