Townsville Endodontics

We are thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with Townsville Endodontics. The client, Dr Olivia Rae, is a specialist in the management and treatment of patients who experience acute dental emergencies, orofacial pain, and traumatic dental injuries. Often, these patients arrive in states of stress, anxiety, and even trauma. Therefore, our objective was to create an environment that not only radiates tranquility but also instil confidence in patients, assuring them that they are in capable hands.

Our selection of a colour palette built around natural whites and beige tones and our retention of the existing natural timber floors was deliberate to promote a sense of peace and serenity. This palette was thoughtfully interwoven into an array of textures and carefully selected finishes as well as décor items to highlight, the high standard of care provided by our client.

The linear composition of the existing building‘s fabric provided the opportunity for the contrasting curved archways to be included centrally around the reception and patient courtesy station joinery. These curves are elevated with decorative panels and brass details giving an contemporary quality finish as a focal point upon entry. The incorporation of brushed brass details in signage, tapware, and hardware throughout the clinic effortlessly unifies each of the spaces, embodying a seamless
blend of thoughtful cohesion and superior quality.

Opal glass lighting fixtures, organically designed, added an artful and ethereal dimension to the overall design concept. Natural illumination was cleverly harnessed through the strategic inclusion of glass doors in the surgery rooms, creating a serene ambiance.

Once the design stage was completed, we transformed the existing allied health building into a dental practice with two state-of-the-art surgeries, sterilisation room, CBCT room, staff room and toilet, administrative office, accessible amenities, reception and patient lounge. The fitout was executed with the utmost skill and craftmanship to create an environment where patients sense they will receive compassionate and exceptional care.
