Boutique Psychiatric Clinic In The Heart of Glen Waverley

After spending more than 10 years working in mental health, Melbourne psychiatrist Dr Anjith Divakaran decided to take the plunge and start his own private practice.   With a vision of providing a friendly and positive environment for patients, he opened the Mindoc practice in Glen Waverley. The practice is a boutique outpatient clinic that provides a wide range of adult psychiatric services.

Elite worked closely with the owner to ensure that the fitout of the Mindoc psychiatric clinic was completed on time and on budget.  The project included fitting out the 90sqm space with two consult rooms, procedure room, reception/waiting area and kitchenette.  As this was a brand new practice for the owner, construction did not affect everyday business operations. 

The striking colour palette of the psychiatric clinic fitout portrays a warm and welcoming environment, and features quality finishes.  In the reception area the white Caesarstone counter offsets the accent wall colour, striped carpet and orange banquette cushions.   The timber wall behind the reception desk further reflects the quality finishes used in the fitout. Pendant lighting over the reception counter completes the look. 

The distinctive brown and orange colour scheme continues throughout the entire practice. Brightly-coloured carpet, paint colours and cushions also featuring in the consult rooms.

Dr Divakaran was very happy with the end result.
