Shopping Centre Fitout for Family-Friendly Dental Clinic

Elite Fitout recently delivered a design and fitout project for a 3-surgery dental practice in Beaudesert.  The new 96 sqm dental clinic is located in the local Shopping Centre and is light, airy and welcoming.   

BDF Dental features three dental surgeries in total, with the third surgery allocated for future use as the practice grows.  There is also a large waiting and reception area, laboratory, sterilisation, OPG + CEPH areas, as well as staff and office facilities.

Design Intent

The design intent for the practice was to create a modern interior with a connection with the semi-rural Beaudesert location.

Look & Feel

To achieve this design intent a leafy wall mural greets clients as they enter the clinic through the glass sliding door. The light timber and white reception desk and textured concrete-look walls continue the modern but rustic theme. Powder-blue furnishings in the reception and waiting area create a welcoming atmosphere for patients. 

The surgeries are a mix of clean, white shelving and countertops, and are offset by light timber cabinetry.  The vinyl flooring is a light grey, giving the rooms a feeling of lightness. 

Glass Features

Glass is a key design element that features throughout the entire practice. The dental clinic’s shopfront has frosted panels along both sides of the tenancy, with colourful branding and imagery to attract the attention of passers-by. The frosted glass also provides some privacy for patients, and lessens the noise in the shopping centre.

Inside the clinic, the surgeries feature large glass window panels facing into the corridor area, adding light to the rooms as well as providing visibility for staff.
