A Modern Approach to Practice Design

Modern practice design

While other practice design trends have come and gone over the past decade, one aesthetic that never seems to go out of fashion is the modern look.  Clean lines, minimalist décor and a strict sense of balance offers a timeless appeal for any practice environment.

While the modern approach offers the benefits of being uncluttered and low-maintenance, it can also be at risk of being seen by some as ‘boring.’  Incorporating warm timber accents, a splash of colour, florals in reception and engaging artwork all help to break up any potential starkness. This provides a welcoming yet stylish environment for your patients.

Elite worked with Toowoomba Family Vets to transform their historical premises – previously home to a long-running seafood restaurant – into a welcoming environment with clean lines and an easy-flowing space.

The end result is a vet practice with a modern look and feel. All the while still in keeping with the character of the site.

Bulimba Dermatology integrated their brand’s trademark blue into their interior by applying it to splashbacks, finishes and artwork. This provides a distinct contrast to the otherwise modern sleek and minimalist design choices within the practice.

Toothpaste Dental on the Sunshine Coast collaborated with Elite in choosing features that accompanied their brand new practice space.

Their minimalist design was brought to life by a timber wall feature in their front-of-house. Colourful murals also add some brightness for children in the consult rooms.
